I studied Ballet
and, after performing in several dance drama pieces at school, I was
encouraged to audition for Ballet School. I gained a place at Arts
Educational School, where I studied Ballet, Character, Jazz, Modern,
Spanish and Tap for three years, and performed in a Royal Gala Performance
at what was then The Strand Theatre, now The Novello, in
1998.
This was followed by
a year at Thamesdown Dance College, which introduced me to
Contemporary Dance. I then gained a place at the Rambert School of
Ballet and Contemporary Dance, gaining a Diploma in Dance. I went on to dance
briefly with Pendulum Dance Company in Pieces in Rhythm at The Place before turning
my attentions to acting.
My first rôle was in Panto as Tom in The Golden Voyage of Sinbad.
My other credits
include the Parlourmaid in La Ronde at Barons Court Theatre, Nancy in
Oliver Twist and Helena in A
Midsummer Night's Dream on tour, and Jane in Chris Pitts' Dreamcatcher at Camden People’s Theatre.
I have also appeared
in a number of independent films and commercials, including a T-Mobile campaign, and this summer attended the screening of
my first feature film,
Stag Night of the Dead, in which I played
Elaine.
I enjoy a
challenge and seeing the world from a different perspective: I was a Wing
Walker with the Crunchie Flying Circus - now known as
Team Guinot - and have performed in Air Shows all over England. I have
just joined London's hottest and busiest Burlesque troupe,
The Folly
Mixtures, and will soon be seen performing with them all over the UK
and in Italy. Ooooh Cheeky!
