Welcome
to my site.
I trained at Arts Educational School, where I studied Ballet, Character,
Jazz, Modern, Spanish and Tap for 3 years, and performed in a Royal
Gala Performance at what was then The Strand Theatre (now The Novello) in
1998. This was followed by a year at Thamesdown Dance College, which
introduced me to Contemporary Dance. I then gained a place at the Rambert
School of Ballet & Contemporary Dance, taking a Diploma in Dance. I went
on to dance briefly with Pendulum Dance Co in Pieces in Rhythm at The
Place before turning my attentions to acting. Theatre credits include:
Woman in Someone with a Naturally Cheery Disposition Sought
at The Space, The Parlourmaid in La Ronde at Barons Court Theatre,
Nancy in Oliver Twist and Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream
on tour. Films include Rachel in Things to Remember, Olly’s Mum
in The Second Coming: Brought to you in Low Definition and
Elaine in Stag Night of the Dead. I have also appeared in
Commercials including campaigns for the National Lottery
and T-Mobile, and a Music Video for newly signed band Phobophobes. I
have an interest in the daring & alternative: in 2011-12 I enjoyed
performing with Burlesque Troupe The Folly Mixtures, touring all
over the UK and in Europe, as well as having a residency at Madam Jojo’s in
Soho, London. I have also performed in Air Shows all over UK as a
Wing-Walker with The Crunchie Flying Circus, now known as Team Guinot.
Most
recently I appeared in the Script 6 Rehearsed Reading Festival at The
Space performing in Someone with
a Naturally Cheery Disposition Sought and I am about start
rehearsals for Physical Theatre piece
Faraway, So Close
about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, at The Old Fire Station Theatre
Oxford. |
